The project was a 235,000 square-foot renovation of an existing student union building and new building construction. The Student Union project was Certified as LEED Gold for the building. The renovation and expansion centralized various student organizations and services; and features a food court, coffee house, print shop and computer center. An existing amphitheater was converted into an indoor theater and lecture hall. Multiple student organizational offices, library, cafeteria and kitchen, ballroom, retail and bookstore, lounges and conference room areas, and classrooms.
